My legions upon legions of readers are probably asking themselves right now "Why hasn't Jaywalker posted anything in almost 3 weeks?!! My day isn't complete without reading an article by jaywalker!!"

One reason is that, the past few days, the universe has been conspiring to make my cyber life really miserable. 3 of my hard disks failed, carrying with them precious data. I don't know what's causing my hard disks to fail. I've already replaced the PSU, the cables, the memory and i had the motherboard tested as well.

I've also been a bit emo the last few days for reasons that i'd rather not discuss... because manly men never discuss emo stuff in public

Anyway, I decided that i wanted to post videos of me playing the piano. So I may educate people on how NOT to play the piano

I actually had private piano lessons when i was 7 or 8. I didn't take long for me to get bored. I felt that the lessons were going at a very slow pace and i wanted to play complex pieces already so i told my tutor to teach me chords instead of reading notes... that's why i'm such a crappy piano player right now

1.) Here's Chopin's Nocturne in C# minor: You may wonder why the latter part of the video was cut abruptly. That's because that part of the piece is particularly difficult

2.)Here's beethoven's moonlight Sonata in C# minor: I played the entire piece without a sheet. I tried to memorize it but my memory's quite bad as you can see in this vid... also my pedal foot is quite heavy

3.) Blue moon: Here's a bit of sinatra for you. This is 100% improv. I was making up the notes as i was playing them. As you'll see in this vid, i totlaly suck at imprpov. I'll also be singing in this vid so turn down the volume a little bit lest you scare the neighboors
