Ok this clip has a really funny story. It was originally supposed to be a comedy skit. But then I thought that the atmosphere was really nice so I decided to make it a serious, horror vid. But I overdid it a little bit so it’s a bit funnier than I originally intended. I’m officially calling it a comedy/horror video so whatever reaction you get from it, I’m safe

Seriously though, I’m really proud of the cinematography of this vid. Take note that I’m a complete amateur and that this is a one-man production. I held the camera 100% of the time.

To those looking for specifics, I used a sony DCR-PC5 minidv camcorder. I shot the film entirely in my room ..and in the bathroom. I edited the video with adobe premiere pro 7. I used several methods to increase the contrast levels and emphasize the shadows, I’m not gonna tell you of course. In most of the scenes, the room was completely dark. The only light sources were my TV and the monitor of my PC. That says alot about the lowlight performance of the PC5. A lot of camcorders are practically useless indoors under normal lighting.
